Welcome to The Field. The Field is a thrilling post-by-post roleplaying game that will keep you on edge at all times. We cater towards any level of role-player but tend to be intermediate to advanced. Please feel free to take a look around, but watch your step -- there is always something lurking in the shadows.
Hidden amongst the shadows of each kid's memories are whispers. These tell the kids what is acceptable, and what will not be tolerated. Other things such as small details about the Field can also be found here. Be warned, if you do not heed these whispers, you will face the consequences.

Here is the hangout for the staff members. Since there are only staff allowed, they have fun talking about who they will eat promote next and other aspects of the site.
If you would like to advertise or affiliate with the Field, then please do so here. Please only post your site once, or all of you advertising posts will be deleted.
After you have read all of the rules and know what the Field is all about, you can feel free to come here and bring a character into existence. Please keep in mind that until your character is accepted, you may not roleplay with him/her. You will receive a pm notification once your character has been accepted, and your character will be moved to the accepted characters board.
Once your character bio has been accepted by a member of the staff, it will be placed here. You will get a notification of it's acceptance and will then be able to start role playing with your character. Character journals can also be found here.
The Northern Forest is in....well, the northern part of the valley. The stream that runs through the valley ends here in a shallow pool where tiny minnows swim around. The meeting place also happens to be here.
Here is the Eastern Forest which resides in the eastern part of the valley. The main stream that runs through the valley doesn't go through here, so it is the driest part of the valley -- meaning that it doesn't not have the thick plant life like the rest of the valley. There is a small cave here that is in the side of the cliff that can house around 20 or so people. Keeping dry when it is raining can be quite a luxury, though one you may have to fight for.
While in the Southern Forest, one can hear the constant whisper of a thin waterfall that drapes over the cliff edge. The stream cuts through the southern forest and to get to the other side of stream, you have wade through the cold water. The water is not fast, but it is deep and cold enough to give you a chill.
On the western side of the valley lies the western forest. The stream runs through here, creating a border between this part of the forest and the field -- perfect for the kids with the greatest fear of the Field.
At the very center of the valley lies the Field. The Field is made up of six-foot-high grass which makes a shuffling sound in the wind. Silent small birds can be caught here and make a pretty good (albeit small) meal. The birds are the best you can get for meat as there is no other wildlife in the field. The were Field can mess with people's minds, make them see hallucinations hiding behind the grass which can be quite dangerous as many of the hallucinations try to get them to go through the hole. The hole sits in the very middle of the field and has quite an eerie calmness to it. Oh yes, you may not want to be caught out in the Field come dark, 'cause that is when the Mungrids come out to play.
